DuPont Zodiaq® quartz surfaces are a new brand and category of surfacing products from DuPont. They merge the beauty of natural quartz with DuPont technology to create a new and exciting aesthetic for horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Zodiaq® is composed mostly of quartz, giving it exceptional toughness and a hardness of 7 on a scale of 10 (only diamonds rate a 10!). Here's what Zodiaq offers:

- It can be cut and fit to meet exacting requirements with precision, uniformity and consistency
- It is dense and nonporous, with no sealing required

Because Zodiaq® is made of quartz, it combines the unusual light play and depth of quartz crystals with exceptional clarity in a broad range of radiant colors. Quartz is one of the hardest naturally occurring materials, with a rating of 7 out of 10 on the Mohs' scale of hardness; as a comparison, diamonds rate a 10 on this scale.

The Zodiaq® palette of more than 25 colors ranges from Cloud White to Space Black. The Zodiaq color palette offers distinctive aesthetics and vibrant textures that lend themselves to new interpretations and innovative designs.
Care and Maintenance
DuPont Zodiaq® quartz surfaces are very easy to maintain. The quartz used in Zodiaq® - coupled with high-performance, stain-resistant polymers - results in a durable, nonporous, chemical-resistant surface. Zodiaq® is also heat- and scratch-resistant, but not heat- and scratch-proof. Therefore, the use of a cutting board is recommended when using a knife.
Of course, Zodiaq® keeps its lustrous gloss and ultra-smooth surface without polishing. Because it is nonporous, Zodiaq® does not require sealants or waxes.
Zodiaq® also gives you peace of mind. In the unlikely event that you do experience any problems due to a manufacturer's defect, you can rest assured that DuPont backs Zodiaq® with a 10-year limited warranty.
Warranty Information
10 YEAR WARRANTY
DuPont warrants to you, the owner of the original installation, that DuPont will repair or replace, without charge, your installation of DuPont Zodiaq® quartz surfaces when installed by a DuPont Authorized Zodiaq® Installer, if the product fails due to any manufacturing defect or any defect in conversion or installation during the first ten (10) years from the date of completion of installation of the Zodiaq®. This limited warranty includes necessary labor charges needed to repair or replace the product covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover products made by other suppliers.
